Student Attendance Survey

If you haven't completed the Student Attendance Survey yet, it is open until 4pm on Monday, September 16, 2024. Attendance is key to school success for all students. The successful progress of school aged students depends on coming to school regularly and on time. We would greatly appreciate your input on this survey. You can fill out the survey here


Back to School Nights 

  • O'Donnell Middle School - Tuesday, September 17, 6-8pm

  • Stoughton High School - Wednesday, September 18, 6-8pm

  • Elementary Schools - Thursday, September 19

    • Hansen - 5-6:30pm

    • Dawe, Gibbons, South, Wilkins - 6-7:30pm

This is a great opportunity to meet your child's teachers and hear important updates. Please refer to emails from your school with more information about Back to School Night at your child's school. 


Power of Positive Parenting for Preschool Families 

Jones Early Childhood Center parents and guardians are invited to take part in "Power of Positive Parenting" sessions organized by the Stoughton OASIS Coalition in collaboration with the Stoughton Public Schools. Sessions take place Tuesday, September 17 and Wednesday, September 18 at the Jones School from 9am-10:30am or from 12pm-1:30pm on both days. Early Release Day on Thursday

This Thursday, September 19 is an early release day for the Stoughton Public Schools.

Here are the school hours for early release days:
• SHS & OMS - 7:35am - 11:32am
• Elementary Schools - 8:30am - 12:20pm
• Preschool - 8:30am - 11:00am (No afternoon preschool session)

Lunch will still be served. 


Athletics 

Click here to see the full athletics schedule for this week. It's another busy week for SHS teams and middle school field hockey and boys soccer get underway as well. 

Of special note, on Monday, September 16, 2024, the Stoughton High volleyball program will be raising awareness for childhood cancer during its home matches against Taunton. The Freshmen match starts at 3:45pm, followed by the JV match at 5pm, and the varsity match at 6:15pm, all in the SHS gymnasium. There will be a bake sale and 50/50 raffle with proceeds going to support fighting Neuroblastoma.
