With the school year underway, we are bringing back "The SPS Week Ahead" to compile a list of some of the events taking place throughout the district as well as some important reminders.
4th & 5th Grade Band Registration & Instrumental Rental Night
Students in the 4th and 5th grade are invited to participate in the Elementary Instrumental Program. Each student will receive a 30 minute group lesson free of charge each week at their elementary school if they register.
Be sure to fill out this registration form to participate in elementary school band. And, attend the Elementary Instrumental Rental Night on Wednesday, September 11, 2024 at 6:30pm in the O'Donnell Middle School Cafeteria (211 Cushing St.). You can rent your instrument in advance by clicking here so that you can pick it up at Rental Night! You may choose to start the rental process at this event, in which case your child's instrument will be delivered to their elementary school at a later date.

School Committee Meeting
The Stoughton School Committee will be meeting on Tuesday, September 10, 2024 in the conference room at the SPS District Office, 31 Pierce St. The public portion of the meeting starts at 7pm. An agenda for the meeting can be found here.
Elementary School Building Committee Meeting
There will be a virtual Elementary School Building Committee Meeting this Wednesday, September 11, 2024 at 7pm. An agenda for the meeting will be posted here later on Monday.
SHS Athletics
The fall sports season is underway at Stoughton High. Click here to see the schedule of games for this week. The weather looks fantastic all week, so it's a great chance to head to Stoughton High and cheer on the Black Knights!
This Friday, September 13, 2024 is the first "Friday Night Lights" of the school year. The Stoughton High football team will be hosting Attleboro at 7pm at Veterans Memorial Stadium at SHS. The SHS Matching Black Knights will be performing at halftime. Prior to the football game, the SHS varsity boys soccer team hosts Milford at 4:30pm, also at Veterans Memorial Stadium.
